I just had my emissions test done and my co and hc at idel were way too high. At 2500rpm, they were fine. The car passed last year without any problems. I have made no significant changes to her in the past year. Can anyone give me some direction to look. I did a search on rich idle (and variations of that) and found nothing conclusive. The emissions specs are below. I am guessing that I have a possible lower injector o ring leak. I have not found a way to test for that. Any clues why it's rich at idle but fine at 2500 rpm. I did all of the basics power balance test, boost leak test, vacuum leak test, check timing, tested the following per the FSM; MAF, Engine temp sensor, TPS. BTW, the idle is smooth and even. Fuel economy has dropped in the past few weeks from 18 mpg in town, to 17 mpg in town. As a side note, I do have low compression on cylinder 1 which would account for some of the hc being high. 2009 2500rpm co .88 hc 113 2009 idle co 1.2 hc 128 2010 2500rpm co .66 hc 116 2010 idle co 3.21 hc 339
